Locust is the undergrowth of the forest- mushrooms, ferns, a dead mouse’s rot feeding new flora…the blooming and rotting substrate of the forest floor. Earthy and aloof, Locust prefers to be alone…though after some time spent with you he may just quietly curl up in your lap for a nap. Locust can make your houseplants die or grow at his whim…so be nice to him if you don’t want your posies to lose their blooms.

This is a one of a kind handmade art doll. Locust’s body is made from very fluffy high quality hand sewn faux fur stuffed with soft polyfill and pellets in his bum so he can sit on his own. The face, horns and paws are cast resin that has been hand painted.

Locust’s hair is made from hand shaped wool and his necklace is made from a brass keyhole plate with high quality polished amber beads along with various wood/brass/metal beads.

This is a non articulated, floppy soft style doll. 

11” tall. 

This doll is meant to be touched and cuddled but is not meant for children or rough play. Please handle with care!

As with all pre-orders i have to ask people to be 100% comfortable with waiting for this. I will update the shop update page with anything you need to know, there is no reason to check in with me personally before the recommended wait time has passed. Please keep in mind due to circumstances beyond my control this production time could be longer. If that happens i WILL blog/update/etc about it.

Please read everything below carefully:

-This is a fully painted and finished urethane mask. Each one is made by the artist, signed and numbered.  They also include an authentication sticker on the inside. The masks are clear coated to prevent the paint scuffing but please treat it with some care. Wipe any dirt  or smudges with a slightly damp cloth.

- Display/store in a cool place out of direct sun. I recommend hanging on a wall by the top loop to prevent sagging or flattening due to sitting on a horizontal surface for an extended period. The material is heat sensitive.

-Your mask includes adjustable sliding elastic straps with loops attached to the mask itself in case you prefer to replace with your own straps. It will also come with a cloth storage bag.

- There will be slight variations between each mask due to the hand made nature.

-ONE SIZE FITS MOST. These masks cannot be worn with glasses.

- Please be aware the resin used for this mask is heat sensitive meaning it is prone to mild warping.  Do not leave it out in very hot weather! If it warps, it can be restored to its original shape by applying low heat ( 150 degrees or so) Store face up on a supportive structure underneath ( rolled up shirt or fabric works well ) or even better ….hang from your wall! 

These masks are pieces of art made for light costuming and display. They should never be used in place of safety equipment or as protection. Do not use this as a welding/metal working mask. Do not use this as a hockey/airsoft/paintball mask.  Use common sense, please. I would not recommend this as a piece to use for any LARP that may result in any blows to the face. I will not be responsible for any injuries sustained through misuse of this product.

Meet Scratch the opossum!

Scratch is very impudent and hyperactive. He can be really annoying and drive you crazy just for his own amusement. He loves to roam in trash cans, sleep in dirty clothes and he will sell his soul for a piece of bacon!

20cm (8 inches) tall. Details are cast in resin and the body is soft (no joints or skeleton armature inside), he has some plastic pellets in his belly to give him good balance. His charm is made of mammoth ivory shards, agate and shell beads.

Attention! This is a piece of art. Not a toy for small children. Completely handmade, one of a kind.

This is really beautiful but also who the fuck lets their naked toddler play in the street or their baby carriage unattended to roll out into a road? Both those nearly gave me a panic attack. Thank goodness there are good people.

When im out in public i notice how so many people walk through their environment like they are in a daze or hypnotized…few are aware of who and what is around them. How many opportunities have you missed to be someone’s savior because you were too buried in your phone or just not looking outside yourself? Wake up. Be an active, aware part of the general public and do your part when the opportunity arises. I sound like a cheesy old scoutmaster but im super serial!

I say this as a person who has gotten to help a lot of people ( and animals) by being aware and i will say helping an old lady cross a street is kind of the best thing ever.

 This is Andromeda, the sister of my other dragon Andros! She is a young gal, graceful, dignified and always trying to do what is right. However when she eats she has no shame! Andromeda loves food and has awful table manners…do not get between her and meal unless you are wearing a front row Gallagher poncho. After pigging out and making a big mess she goes back into her usual demure, classy personality. She’s a great pal to cuddle up to since she’s such a huge doll.

This is a handmade, one of a kind piece of art. The face, horns and claws are an original sculpt cast in resin that is then hand painted. Each cast piece is sealed with clear coat. The body is a soft, non articulated floppy style stuffed with soft polyfill, her tail has plastic pellets to weight it a bit. High quality thick faux fur body. Glass eyes are sculpted into her face, giving her a lifelike feeling. 

This dragon is 51” long! 

Andromeda has flexible spines and scales on her neck. These are made from soft silicone so she can still be hugged. Each one is hand shaped and set into the doll. She also has real quartz crystals set into the top of her neck!

Every one of my dolls comes with a signed resin monster face medallion tag marking it as one of my one of a kind critters. These dolls are meant to be petted and cuddled a bit but please treat them with care. Wipe the face or paws with a slightly damp cloth to clean any scuffs or dust.  They are not rated for young children!

Once this doll is sold out, she is gone!
